Before we were Venus Wafers, we were simply a tightly bonded Armenian family passing healthy, natural cracker bread around a dinner table in Boston. As years passed, our dinner table grew in size and in passion, becoming an upbeat hub where new recipes were shared and memories were made. Those unforgettable moments amongst food and family allowed our grandfather, Napoleon, to pass his genuine love for bringing wholesome foods to every family down our family tree.
Three generations later and still family owned, we have naturally grown into a staff of food lovers and health connoisseurs who, like our grandfather, strive to make simply flavorful foods widely accessible. While our table is only getting bigger, one thing remains the same: family is our key ingredient.
Venus Wafers has always been a family company. Our humble beginnings were founded by our grandfather, Napoleon, and his passion for serving food worth sharing. It has allowed us to bring our homegrown recipes for naturally made crackers to families across the world. Now, our family has grown from one dinner table in Boston to lively tables everywhere.

In the 1920s, our grandfather and founder Napoleon was inspired to share the joys of simply wholesome snacking with the city of Boston. Taking his own homegrown recipes, he began door-to-door sales of light, crispy crackers. Generations continued to foster a love for food within our family, and our grandfather’s passion for traditional, simple crackers grew larger in each of us.
Every opportunity to make our process, packaging, and products planet-friendly is made with a smile and the hope that we can return the favors that nature has given us. We are committed to using recycled paper certified by the Sustainable Forest Initiative, reducing emissions, using only natural ingredients, and always keeping our waste to a minimum. Our commitment has been since our great-grandfather started this company - simple clean ingredients, done well.
At Venus Wafers, we care about the food we make and the people we make it for. Our compassion for the tables we set doesn’t end when crackers have become just crumbs. We donate regularly to the Boston Food Bank and are always looking for more ways to give back.
